As the nexus of this blog, an asiatic lily that I planted last year happens to be in full bloom in my garden.  Lilies do not bloom long, so if you are the type to be so caught up with other things that you do not notice your garden for a week, the beautiful flowers will most likely have faded away.  So, I have to be  on “alert” to notice the tangible, physical, beautiful things around – put it on my priority list to notice, because it might not be here long.  The scriptural thought here is that God clothes the lilies of the field with their beauty.  More on that in the posts to follow.
